Premium Lenses And Treatment
There are so many options out there with lenses and coatings and determining what is best for you and your lifestyle and
the type of work that you do. Dr. Mathew actively researches and keeps himself abreast with what is new in the world of opthalmics so that can be translated to what works the best and deems most suitable for his patients, "This can be such a huge factor in determining whether a patient has a seamless transition as a first time progressive wearer or single vision for that matter." By taking into account the patients lifestyle, computer use, activity levels, etc., all of these play an important role in the decision making process and what Dr. Mathew and his team at CFVC recommends.
Some of the treatments that we offer for the lenses are:
antireflective (AR) coating which is useful for cutting glare from computer screens and headlights from vehicles at nighttime. UV coating that blocks harmful UVA and UVB to help ward off damaging UV radiation. Next, scratch resistant lenses which can make your lenses more durable and less prone to scratches. We have options for clip on suns, as in a clip that goes over your glasses to protect your eyes from the sun and different types of Transition lenses, sometimes called photochromatic.
